Hannah Heazlewood
Psychologist
Hannah is a warm, passionate and dedicated psychologist with 15 years of experience in the field and 10 years in private practice. During this time Hannah has worked with a variety of different clients in private settings, workplace rehabilitation and psychiatric hospitals working with individual clients and group facilitation.
Hannah has completed undergraduate and postgraduate training. She has completed Intensive training for Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Level 1 and 2 Training for Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO DBT). Hannah specialises in evidence based therapy including DBT, RO DBT, Schema therapy, EMDR and CBT. She has a passion for all things dialectical, seeing both sides of things and has seen that although we may suffer we are able to be cared for and grow and learn from these times. Hannah has a strong ability to build rapport and in her sessions is able to focus on connection, increasing openness and working flexibly to treat a clients needs and goals.
Hannah is a trauma informed therapist and has a particular passion for working with trauma. She is able to assist clients through working through some of the most difficult and challenging moments in life and care for oneself through this. She strives to create a safe and supportive space for clients while helping to build skills to create a Life Worth Living.
Hannah is able to see adults and adolescents over 16 years of age and able to treat the following conditions and stressors:
